Home Visits - Daytime

If you are disabled or your condition prevents you from attending our practice you may be eligible for a Home Visit.

Home visit eligibility includes parameters that include the severity of your condition, your ability to travel and your location.

All home visits will be charged privately. However, at the doctor’s discretion they may be bulk-billed if the patient fulfils all of the following criteria:

  • Health care card;
  • Is housebound;
  • And the visit is deemed medically necessary

To arrange a home visit appointment,  please call our reception team.

Home Visits - Nighttime

After-hours visits (eg: outside of normal opening hours), our practice refers to the National Home Doctor Service for GP Home Visits.

National Home Doctor Service has a team of GPs who conduct in-home consultations.

Please let the visiting after-hours GP know who your regular doctor is, so that they are sent a letter with a record of the consultation.

To arrange an after-hours visit by the National Home Doctor Service, call 13 SICK (13 7425) or visit the National Home Doctor Service website.
